• Genuine issue Soviet Air Force navy blue wool great coats.These coats are new, never issued or worn, and 90% wool, a one-off batch we picked up. Please note the largest size we have is a 42 inch chest, and we have limited numbers of 38, 40 and 42 inch ones.
• A 'real' wool coat, most modern coats have a much lower wool content. They are great quality, made for the Soviet Civil Air Fleet and date from around the mid-1980's.
• Each one is a 90/10 wool/polyamide mix so you know they will be nice and warm, not issued as they still have their original labels on them. These are double breasted, with two rows of gold buttons to the front, a rear waist belt with two additional gold buttons and a large rear vent. There are two outside pockets and one inside. Each button has a propeller and wing design as used by the Soviet Civil airforce.
• The number after the chest size indicates the height that the coat would be suitable for e.g. 36 inch-2, is a 36 inch chest for height 5 foot 5 inches (164cm). Please use the guide table in the product description below to determine which size you require for your height.
• As these are surplus they will need to be aired before use, please also be aware that the colour on these can vary from a very deep (almost black) navy to a lighter hue. Unfortunately we only have the sizes listed available and will not be able to get any more of these in.
